This romantic Max Patch proposal started when I asked Katie and Preston to model for me. I’ve been dying to get to the mountains and I’ve been trying to convince couples how absolutely breathtaking it is to go on an adventure for your romantic session with me! We had something on the books in October for months, and the week before our session Preston reached out to me asking if it would be okay if he proposed and I was SO excited!!

I have taken Katie’s college graduation pictures, pictures for their Christmas card, and now I had the opportunity to capture his proposal! My favorite part about what I do is getting to know my clients and because I have known these two for so long, it made the special moment all the more special!

The beautiful mountain top session began by taking some sweet pictures of the couple in front of the incredible view! The best part was before Preston got down on one knee to propose. I kept telling me “WOW! THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SPOT!” Not until I sent them down the mountain a little ways did he finally pop the question.
