Being a Knoxville senior photographer, I dream of sessions like Emma Kate’s Chattanooga senior session. Her session was filled with adventure, exploring and celebrating Chattanooga and what makes Emma Kate special. As a Knoxville senior photographer, my goal is to celebrate the divine and unique differences in my seniors and showcase their personalities. Throughout this downtown Chattanooga senior session, we did just that, and it was a blast.

Chattanooga Senior Adventure Stop #1

First, we found a beautiful field that had incredible views, and even some horses in the distance. It was the perfect spot to kick off her session, and get her feeling comfortable in front of the camera. Throughout her Chattanooga senior session, her and her mother emphasized a desire to make this session about Emma Kate. Encouraging us to explore locations that held meaning to her, and not the ‘typical senior session’ locations. I was immediately thrilled, and couldn’t wait to be apart of celebrating Emma Kate!

Emma Kate goes to Girl’s Preparatory School in Chattanooga, and has loved it. She has an absolute heart of gold, and is so incredibly sweet and kind. Working with seniors like Emma Kate has been such a blessing and makes me want to do more, and serve them in ways that make them feel special and adored. She was no exception. Her kindness and positivity radiated throughout the session and it was so special to be apart of.

Downtown Chattanooga Stop #2

Our next spot was in downtown Chattanooga, on a bridge where you could see incredible views of the Chattanooga skyline. At this specific spot Emma Kate wore a pink dress that was cute and fun, showcasing her personality. At this specific spot you could see the Tennessee Aquarium behind her (the tall pointy building) which was super fun to be able to include in her pictures. Showcasing her love of Chattanooga was a blast, especially in subtle ways like this!

We loved using the bridge during this portion of her shoot because it allowed her to move around and have fun, just being herself!

Near the Hunter Museum Stop #3

Next, we continued our adventures in downtown Chattanooga, but moved closer to the art district near the Hunter Museum of American Art. This spot was particularly fun because Emma Kate broke out this incredible colorful dress with abstract elements that looked like it fit right in! Between the location and being by the art museum, it was fun seeing her in a more colorful and fun dress. This is the spot where we got her laughing and it was so much fun.

Last Stop During Chattanooga Senior Session – Art District

If anyone knows me, you know I’m always up for an adventure and this Chattanooga session was nothing short of that. We ended the day in the art district using elements like a wooden door we found, and vines that were incredible! Emma Kate wore my favorite outfit of the day that reflected her personality so well. She wore a more edgy and fun, colorful outfit that was perfect for the location!

Working with Emma Kate and being there throughout her day was something I won’t ever forget. Emphasizing and showcasing what makes Emma Kate special was so important to the both of them, and is something I don’t take lightly. Planning her session around her and her interests was so much fun, and we had a blast.
